The Road, Cormack Mc Carthy

Some bits from a graphic novel(ish) thing I did based on Cormack McCarthy's novel, The Road.

These are quite old, but I like them. I made some stencils and printed different layers on top of one another.

This was in response to a brief designed to show contrasts.  

A large white mountain with black fir trees, a green field with black and white cows in and a small white house.

It's the first time I used hand made stamps and such a regimented approach.

These are a few pages from a sketchbook I took to Budapest last summer.  I drew people on the train to the airport and strange Hungarians.
